At the end of every year, we love to take a moment to share some of our favorite projects from the past 12 months. In 2018, we had a particularly special project worth highlighting: the opening of The Little Details Organizing Studio in Cambridge! This project was years in the making, months in the executing, and celebrated during one spectacular weekend in February. Kitchen Renovations Part 1: Getting Started

Are you thinking about renovating your kitchen? I just went through that process and learned a lot. When my husband and I bought our first house in July 2016, we discovered that the kitchen was outdated, and the cabinets were grungy and smelled weird. Damage-Free Apartment Decorating

Damage-Free Apartment Decorating

Apartment living has lots of perks. You aren’t committed to a 30 year mortgage. If you don’t like where you are, wait out the lease, or break it if you need to. Leaky faucet? Call the landlord. Pipes burst? It’s not coming out of your pocket! But there are definite drawbacks. Old and outdated kitchens and bathrooms are common. Should I Stay Or Should I Go?

Should I Stay Or Should I Go?

My husband and I became first-time homeowners of a slightly dilapidated 1,200 square foot bungalow in 2007.  At the time, I was newly pregnant with our first child. Although this house was a major step up in space from our 700 square foot rental in Boston, we acquired a bathroom that was top to bottom mint green – toilet and all! With some elbow grease and paint brushes we cleaned every inch, painted walls and cheerfully called our little house home for two years.
