Our Favorite Organizing Products

Today we’re giving you all the deets on what everyone wants to know: What are our favorite organizing products? Although we fully believe a lot goes into product recommendation (you know the drill - sort, purge, assign, THEN contain), some things can’t be beat! Measuring your space is an important step, too. This blog post is not sponsored, but most recommendations are from our studio in North Cambridge and The Container Store.

Kitchen
Starting with an area that generally always needs some product to perfect the space, the kitchen! We recently discovered these SpaceAid Bamboo Drawer Dividers and can’t stop recommending them. Can’t decide between drawer dividers and drawer organizers? Wondering the difference? Drawer dividers use tension to divide the space from front to back and left to right; drawer organizers are varying sized plastic or wood squares/rectangles that you can use to create your own sections in your drawers. These SpaceAid dividers give you the best of both worlds with the main tension piece and added wooden inserts to build your perfectly organized drawer. We’re obsessed!

This Expandable Under Sink Organizer never fails us! We love that it’s affordable, fits under almost any sink, and is renter-friendly for those who don’t want to install glide-out organizers.

There are many ways to organize spices, but this magnetic spice organizer frees up your drawers and cabinets by mounting it on a wall or inside of a cabinet door.

Last but not least, you can’t go wrong with Affix bins anywhere in your home! We love them stuck on the side of the fridge for supplements and under the sink for dish towels.

Bathroom
Drawer organizers are our best friend in the bathroom. Use these shallow organizers to create a custom solution. Be sure to measure the drawer and even draw out a picture of the layout. We even measure the items going into the organizers (bottle size, packaging) to be sure it fits just right!

Another favorite bathroom storage solution is getting these tall clear bins to store categories like medicine bottles, back-stock toiletries, and travel items in the bathroom closet or under the sink. Don’t forget to add labels!

Closets
Our go-to quick fix in a closet? Swap out your hangers for this slim line option. You’ll be shocked at what a difference they make! Another easy upgrade? Adding matching Water Hyacinth Bins and labels. Storing seasonal items like scarves and swimsuits in these on the top shelf of a closet gives the space a uniform, pulled together look. We love them because they’re sustainably made, come in many sizes, and look great. Interested in a closet makeover? We do this best! Schedule a phone consultation here.

Mudroom
The entryway can be one of the most overwhelming spaces to keep organized because it naturally becomes a drop zone. If everything has a place, problem solved! If you have a coat closet, adding our favorite over the door rack is perfect for hats, gloves, pet items, sunglasses, and more. If you’re lacking a coat closet, we love this system from Pottery Barn. It’s aesthetically pleasing, customizable, and fits everything from coats to creating a drop zone for mail. Looking for more inspiration? Check out this blog post on entryway organizing.

There you have it, our most-used organizing products all linked for you. Again, don’t forget to measure your space before any purchasing! We’d love to see your home organizing projects! Connect with us on Instagram here.
