What’s In My Organizing Bag?
If you've worked with us, you've seen your organizer arrive laden with bags. Our team arrives to every project with all of the supplies that we might need (and then some). And all of our bags are the same! We have a standardized list for every bag to make it as easy as possible to always find what we need. One of the most fun, but also most challenging, parts of our work is that we never know for sure what a day will bring. That means that we always come prepared for whatever might happen!
What you see below is a selection of all of the goodies in our organizing bags… We can’t give away all of our tricks!
Our Basic Essentials
Phone
A fully charged phone is our notebook, camera, walkie-talkie, and research tool. Smartphones are a real life-saver when you need to be ready for anything!
Painter’s Tape
This is our favorite temporary label! We switched from individual white labels to the simpler, cheaper, and less sticky painters tape last year. It is an amazing way to quickly label!

Our Gadgets
I never thought that a retractable ceramic knife would be on my list of must-have items, but here we are. These knives are much safer than typical utility knives due to their blade construction and they work just as well! Plus, they come in a truly adorable miniature version.
We never buy any organizing product without measuring first! We are constantly pulling these out to check dimensions of whole rooms, drawers, cabinets, and furniture.
This little machine is cordless, entirely controlled via bluetooth (there's the phone, again!) and super easy to use. We have all used more manual versions of label makers and they are great, but if you are labeling a whole kitchen the high speed version is critical.
I never want to use any other after getting used to this one! It has every type of bit you might need and can ratchet as well as manually drive screws. It’s also super durable and just the right size.
Our Secret Weapons
These pop up bins are lightweight, washable, and durable! They are perfect for sorting any space, from a playroom to a garage.
We never want to leave a client with beautiful new product… and sticky label residue. The Goo Gone pen is a mess-free miracle worker to remove anything sticky!
We bring these with us everywhere we go! They are heavy but compact and very easy to set up and move around. We use them for reaching high shelves, pulling items out of the backs of cabinets, and putting labels on those less frequently used items.
We also have speciality kits that we bring with us for certain types of jobs. We have moving supply boxes with all of our move must-haves and a carefully curated holiday decorating kit. For large digital organizing projects, we have high-speed scanners and a photo organizing supply bag. And don't forget about Elfa! Our team has all of the tools you could ever need to run an install – drills, a band saw, a battery powered vacuum, ladders, and more.
